This website, makko.com.au, is operated by MAKKO & CO Pty Ltd (MAKKO, we, us or our).

These terms apply to your use of our website and purchases from our online store. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Using our website

Please provide accurate contact, billing and delivery details. You must be able to enter into a binding purchase agreement or have a parent or guardian's permission to purchase.

Do not use the website unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or submit fraudulent orders. Keep any account access details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.

Product information and use

We aim to keep product descriptions, images and prices accurate. Colours may appear differently on different screens, and product packaging may be updated. Products supplied must still meet their description and applicable consumer guarantees.

Skincare results vary between individuals. Read the ingredient list and directions, check for ingredients you know you react to, and patch test before first use. Use skincare products externally and only as directed. Stop use if irritation occurs.

Our product information is general information about cosmetic products. It does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Delivery charges and any applicable discounts are shown at checkout before you pay.

The payment methods currently available are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by payment service providers. Any fees charged separately by your bank or payment provider are governed by your arrangement with that provider.

Price changes apply to future orders and do not change the price of an accepted order.

Orders and availability

Products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable, an order contains an obvious pricing error, or we reasonably suspect fraud, we will contact you about the issue. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will refund amounts paid for the unfulfilled items and any related delivery charge where applicable.

If we identify a pricing error before dispatch, we will explain it and give you the option of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling the affected order for a refund. We will not charge an additional amount without your agreement.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact customers@makko.com.au as soon as possible. We will help where we can, but changes may not be possible once an order has been processed or dispatched. This does not limit your statutory rights.

Offers and bundles

Promotions may have eligibility requirements, expiry dates and exclusions stated with the offer. Discounts apply as shown at checkout. Bundle contents are listed on each bundle's product page.

Shipping

We deliver within Australia using Australia Post standard post only. Standard post is $10, or free on orders of $100 or more after discounts, excluding shipping. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing before dispatch.

See our Shipping Policy for full details. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. Contact us about delayed, missing or damaged orders so we can help resolve them.

Returns and consumer rights

We do not offer change-of-mind returns. Our Refunds & Returns Policy explains how to contact us about damaged, incorrect or faulty products and the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Reporting a delivery issue within 14 days helps us investigate promptly; it is not a limit on your statutory rights.

Website content

Our branding, website copy, imagery and other content are owned by MAKKO or used with permission. You may view the website for personal use. Commercial copying, republication or use of our branding requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

Third-party services and links

Our website may link to or use services provided by third parties, including payment providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your dealings with them. This does not remove our responsibility for the products and services we supply to you.

Responsibility and applicable law

We remain responsible for obligations that apply to us under Australian law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by Australian law. You retain any rights to seek assistance or a remedy through a court, tribunal or consumer protection body available to you.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new date. Changes apply to future use and orders and do not retrospectively change the terms of an existing order.
